Therapy

Individual, one-to-one psychotherapy and counselling with JG Psychotherapy is a space for you to express what is present and happening for you, while being fully heard. It is a non-judgmental, empathic, safe space where we can explore and understand your self and concerns.

As your therapist, I do not offer advice or tell you what to do, think or feel. I am here to listen to you, and offer techniques and skills to build your inner resources and emotional wellness. This is done collaboratively so that you can find the resources and strategies that resonate and help you the most.

At JG Psychotherapy, I do not diagnose you. I am interested in getting to know you via a person-centred and holistic approach, focusing on the mind-body connection. I integrate different counselling approaches, such as narrative therapy, somatic therapy, mindfulness and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)  in a way that works for you. I am interested in learning about who you are and your own lived experience so that you gain clarity, feel heard, supported and understood.
